Meet the Maker
Hi, I'm Alyssa! I am the owner and maker behind Belly Laugh Baby. I have been crafting and sewing for as long as I can remember, and I am so happy to be able to create for others around the United States as well.
The name Belly Laugh Baby comes from the fact that I was belly laughing on the day I was born, which is very true to my personality! Those who know me can attest that no matter what life brings, I can always find a way to laugh!
Years before I even had a name for my business, I knew that I wanted to make and sell baby blankets with fun and unique patterns. Part of the reason I enjoy being a maker is that I can make things that truly match my style and personality. And that goes for others too! I love giving gifts that have a meaning behind them and make the recipient feel truly special. By hand-making my baby gifts, I can make something that you wouldn’t necessarily be able to find in a store.
Want something more classic? We have those too! And they’re still just as special because they are made with a love and attention to detail that you won’t find mass-produced.

Because our products are for babies, we do everything we can to make sure they are safe. We follow all of the regulations that the Consumer Product Safety Commission has put into place to protect your little ones. Here’s an example of what that might look like:
Bunny Ear Teether:
- Passes testing for heavy elements - Lead, BPA, and Cadmium free
- Passes third-party lab testing for small parts/use and abuse
- Passes testing for ASTM F963-17
- Tracking label with the country of origin and date of manufacture/batch code
